Missing Syria girls: Turkish authorities look in Urfa

The Turkish authorities have been looking for three missing London schoolgirls who may be in the town of Urfa on the border with Syria.

Shamima Begum and Amira Abase, both 15, and Kadiza Sultana, 16, travelled to Istanbul on 17 February, and may be seeking to travel on to Syria, possibly to join Islamic State.

Security officials say they are doing all they can to find the girls.

It is not known whether they have already crossed into Syria.

Selin Girit in Urfa reports.
