Arrests made after migrant deaths off coast of Italy

Italian police say they have arrested 15 Muslim migrants after they allegedly threw 12 Christians overboard following a row on a boat heading to Italy across the Mediterranean.

The victims, thought to be from Ghana and Nigeria, are all feared drowned.

It is thought that around 10,000 migrants have made the journey across the Mediterranean in the past week.

Richard Galpin reports.
