Ramadan: French Muslims share charity meal

France is home to Europe's largest Muslim community.

For most French Muslims Ramadan is considered a time for charity and piety.

For many this is even more important after attacks in different parts of the world, including Lyon in France, this Ramadan.

Reporter Nidale Abu Mrad joined a Muslim group in Paris as they organised a charity iftar meal for their neighbourhood.

Ali Gattoufi runs the voluntary organisation and hopes they are showing the "true face of Islam".
