Migrants arriving on Greek island of Kos hope for new life

The refugee crisis on three Greek islands near Turkey is "total chaos", the UN refugee agency UNHCR says.

Accommodation, water and sanitation are all inadequate for the many asylum seekers on Kos, Chios and Lesbos, the UNHCR says, calling it "shameful".

More than 120,000 migrants have arrived in Greece so far this year, including 50,000 in July alone.

The BBC's James Reynolds was there when one boat of migrants arrived ashore on the island of Kos.
