Residents evacuated from homes as Peru volcano spews ash
Four thousand people living near Peru's most active volcano are being evacuated from their homes.
Ubinas recently began spewing ash clouds up to 4km (two miles) high.
An eruption of cinder and toxic gases from Ubinas in 2006 killed livestock and forced a similar evacuation.
Jose Machare from the Peruvian Institute of Geophysics said that there was a "low possibility" that that latest activity could develop into an "unusual eruption that could be very big".
