Venezuela: Protesters clash with police during 48-hour strike

Police have opened fire on people protesting against the Venezuelan government during a 48-hour strike.

Protesters were sent running for their lives as shots rang out during the demonstration in Caracas.

They were protesting against a controversial vote on Sunday to elect an assembly with powers to rewrite the constitution.
