UK Ambassador: Assad regime has 'blood on its hands'

Britain's Ambassador to Syria, Simon Collis, has told the BBC that the Assad regime has so much 'blood on its hands' that the Syrian people know it is doomed.

Mr Collis said President Assad could be forced out by the end of this year.

The United Nations says 7,000 people have fled to Lebanon, at least 4,000 to Jordan, 11,000 to Turkey and approximately 10,000 to Libya, as James Robbins reports.
