Iraq car bombs leave dozens dead in Baghdad

At least 39 people have been killed in a wave of car bomb attacks around the Iraqi capital, officials say.

Bombs in parked cars were detonated over a 30-minute period in busy Baghdad streets, mainly in Shia areas.

Separately, a bomber blew himself up in the northern city of Mosul near troops queuing at a bank, killing 14 people.

Ahmad Maher reports from Baghdad.
