Iraq crisis: Yazidi community talks of escape from Sinjar

Still reeling from their plight, Yazidis in Iraq have been giving their account of the fighting that led to their displacement from Sinjar.

Many of them have accused their Arab neighbours of supporting the self-styled Islamic State's assault, and the Kurdish Peshmerga of abandoning them halfway through the fighting.

Over a million Iraqis remain displaced from their homes since IS began its offensive, the UN says.
