Tutankhamun's beard to be restored after burial mask damage

A year ago the beard on Tutankhamun's burial mask was accidentally knocked off at a museum in Cairo - and then very hastily reattached - amid much controversy.

It has now been confirmed that a team of experts will remove the beard and reattach it more carefully. The restoration could take up two months.
