2015 - Year of the migrant: Noujain Mustaffa's story
In 2015 the news was dominated for months by the apparently ceaseless flow of refugees heading for western Europe and the hostile reception they received in places.
Some countries, like Germany, have been more welcoming and this is where one particular Syrian girl has found sanctuary.
Noujain Mustaffa was pushed across Europe in a wheelchair.
The BBC's Fergal Keane has been following her story.
