Egyptian liberals 'made a historical mistake'
A year ago the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood's creed looked like a winning political formula, but now they have been removed from power. Liberals who are celebrating the recent coup have been criticised for allying themselves with some elements behind the old Mubarak regime.
On the BBC's Hardtalk programme, Stephen Sackur speaks to Turkish writer Mustafa Akyol and Egyptian feminist and political activist Dina Wahba. Was the removal from power of the Muslim Brotherhood, the start of a stronger democracy for Egypt, or will it, as Mustafa Akyol suggests, prove to be a historical mistake?
