Obama on millennium development achievements and failures
US President Barack Obama has warned the world must do better and change its approach or miss the 2015 anti-poverty goals.
Speaking at the Millennium Development Goals summit at the UN in New York, he said it was important to put to rest the myth that "development is mere charity".
He highlighted development achievements but said it was important to face the fact that some goals had not been met.
