US-EU trade pact: Obama confident of deal

At a joint news conference before the beginning of the G8 summit, President Barack Obama and European leaders launched negotiations on a vast free trade pact between the United States and the European Union.

The president said if both sides could work through their differences the agreement would bring great benefits.
