Towns evacuated as California wildfire spreads
About 1,500 people have been forced to flee their homes in southern California as a wildfire rages out of control, fire officials have said.
The fire, first reported early on Wednesday afternoon, exploded in size as wind fanned flames across dry ground.
At least five people have been injured and 10 homes have been destroyed in what the authorities say is one of the most fast-moving fires in half a century.
