Eric Garner death: Protests across US after no indictment

There have been protests in cities across the US after the decision not to indict a New York police officer over the choking death of Eric Garner.

The demonstrations have been mostly peaceful but thousands of people have expressed their anger about relations between the police and African-Americans.

US Attorney General Eric Holder says charges will be brought against the NYPD if a federal investigation finds they acted unlawfully.
