Election 2015: What the British can learn from US

The US tradition of TV debates goes back more than 50 years, when a young John F Kennedy out-charmed a grizzled Richard Nixon. These days there are plenty more faces up there, vying for attention.

Ahead of Thursday's UK debates, which will feature a full slate of contenders, Katty Kay looks at what the candidates could learn from across the pond - especially when it comes to standing out on a crowded stage.
