Aurora cinema shooting: James Holmes guilty of murder
A man who killed 12 people and injured 70 others when he opened fire in a crowded Colorado cinema was sane at the time, a jury has found.
James Holmes was found guilty on multiple counts of murder and attempted murder for the shooting at a midnight premiere of a Batman film near Denver on 20 July 2012.
The 27-year-old neuroscience student had pleaded not guilty due to insanity but jurors decided he knew exactly what he was doing at the time of the attack.
