Watch Trump tell reporters fraud trial 'is a sham'

Donald Trump arrived at a New York court, where he faces a civil lawsuit and a $250m (£204m) fine for alleged fraud, telling reporters the case brought against him was politically motivated.

"This is a continuation of the single greatest witch hunt of all time," the former US president said.

Prosecutors in New York claim Mr Trump deceived banks, insurers and others by largely overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth.
