    Thanks for joining us for 2015's Brit Awards - it's all over for another year! A good night for Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran, who both took two awards during a fairly average ceremony.

    We're already looking forward to photos of the multiple after-parties - but whatever happens, it will have to be something pretty special to get everyone talking about anything other than Madonna.

    We were totally consumed with shock at Madonna's fall, we missed most of her performance of Living For Love. We hope she's not hurt!

    Stop the press! It sounds like she's ok. She just posted a picture of her cape on her Instagram account referring to her extremely apt song lyrics: "Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine!"

    Phew!

    Twitter erupted as Madonna took a tumble during her performance of Living for Love that closed this evening's Brits, here's some of the reaction:

    A dancer appeared to be struggling to remove Madonna's cape before the fall. Her vocals stopped, proving she was singing live.

    Ed Sheeran seemed pretty bowled over by who presented his award, saying "Russell Crowe everyone! Sick!" as he got on stage.

    He told the crowd his album "took a long time to make and I didn't expect this".

    "It's been a very good year for British music and I think it's a night to celebrate the whole thing."

    "It's nice to meet you," he directed at Russell as he left the stage.

    Simon Cowell picked up One Direction's fifth Brit Award for them.

    "This is so exciting," he said. "The boys are in Japan and made up a speech in case they did win... They want to thank their fans... I'm incredibly excited and want to say officially thank you to the boys, you're amazing."

    She obviously forgot to thank some people earlier after her award win as she's thanked a few more guys at the end of the song.

    "This is incredible," said Mark Ronson on stage, collecting the best single award.

    "I wouldn't be holding this without the world's most talented Hawaiian, Mr Bruno Mars, and I'm going to share this with him for sure."
