Ah there you go, Gilligan has just said sorry for his earlier error. It happens to us all Mo, don't worry. The show must go on
Next up - Wet Leg and UK Eurovision star Sam Ryder go up against British-Japanese singer Rina Sawayama, who actually caused the Brits to change their eligibility rules in 2021.
Will they give her this next award?
"First of all, I know this was a fan voted award so to all my fans who voted thank you so so much," Styles says.
"I have so many wonderful memories at the Brits so thank you for another one and it is so good to be home. Thank you so so much."

We're now enjoying a performance from Lewis Capaldi, who Mo Gilligan just introduced as Sam...
Maybe it's an inside joke, or our hearing is going.
The Scotish singer is belting out his lovelorn ballad Forget Me, while playing his electric guitar on some big white steps in the middle of the stage.
He is flanked by a gospel choir and percussionists using only their hands as instruments.
Salma Hayek Pinault gave out the award, flanked by bare-chested hunky men.
We're now on to best pop/R&B act.
The category was called out earlier by Mahalia, as it features no R&B acts.
Twelve years ago, comedian Mo Gilligan tweeted , externalthat he wanted to host either the Brits or the Music of Black Origin Awards. Tonight he’s doing one of those things - for a second time - as he returns to what he calls “the Mo2” for this year’s Awards.
Born in London, the 34-year-old is a two-time Bafta winner… and a keen gardener.
Gilligan's first Netflix special, Momentum, was released in 190 countries and he sold out a whopping ten night’s at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on his There’s Mo to life tour.
His Channel 4 programme, The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan will return to our screens for a fourth series later this year.
The host has just said a quick hello to Stormzy, and told him off for not finishing his dinner.
"Don't act like we don't come from chicken and chips," he joked.

Wet Leg have just performed their innuendo-filled breakthrough hit Chaise Longue, accompanied by a troupe of Morris dancers, including a girating horse.
Unless someone has just left The Masked Singer on from earlier, and I'm confused.
The whispered "What?" on the recorded track was belted out by the crowd at great volume.
What a year for the Isle of White duo, who devised the band on a whim on a ferris wheel. Now they've come full circle.
Is this Morris dancing? We think so.
It's not something we expected to see during the Brit Awards but here it is, as Wet Leg perform their song Chaise Longue.
Holding back tears on stage, Becky Hill thanks fans.
Deep breaths Becky.
"Oh, it's heavy!" she says.
"I want to thank the Brits committee for putting me on the shortlist of the dance act for another year. It is such an honour to be nominated especially alongside the amazing Eliza Rose and the incredible Raye.
"I think Beyoncé said it best in her Grammy speech. We all have the queer community to thank for the best genre on earth."
For the second year running!
Though not there in person, Beyoncé has sent a message for her fans.
"Thank you so much for this incredible recognition. I'd like to say thank you to all my fans out there in Britain for your continuous support over the years. When the Renaissance begins, I'll see y'all on tour."
She's not here but she's now thanking her fans via video.

Aitch took a dig at Harry Styles there, we think.
When he said "people like me" and "from my side of Manchester" don't usually win, he was surely referring to Styles' similar Grammys speech which has drawn some heat in the last week.
The rapper is from north Manchester, while Styles is from south (of) Manchester, in Cheshire.

Tonight is about celebrating the best British talent, but this next award is a traditional shout out the best of the rest with alternative passports (well, US ones mostly, of course)
Aitch is talking now after his win.
"Wow. I thought I'd have time to have a couple more drinks before I came up here.
"I want to big up the fans for voting, of course, thank you very much."
He went on to thank his whole team.
"Not to get all cliché but I just want to say not many people where I'm from, especially my side of Manchester, get the opportunity to stand up here and receive such an amazing gift or award. That's the main reason I do it for, to set examples. It's possible no matter where you're from."
And we're straight in with the awards. Mancunian rapper Aitch wins Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap act.

Mo Gilligan is back as host this year.
In his opening gambit VT he's been shown on-screen bantering with TV personality Joel Dommett, talking to a person with a rhino head and pretending to text Brits performer Lizzo (unless I've just dreamt all that).
The comedian and presenter was then helicoptered into the O2 Arena over the River Thames.
"Just park it down there, you won't get a ticket," he quipped.
Once in the room for real, he also noted how it's the first time the event has been held on a Saturday night. Which is great news for anyone planning a hangover tomorrow.
In a sequin red jacket, Harry Styles has opened the ceremony singing his hit song As It Was.
The song is up for Song of the Year tonight, a fitting start.
He dances as the crowd goes wild.
