The fashion world is abuzz with comment on Meghan's dress.
Elle's Sara McAlpine said the dress was "definitely in keeping with her [Meghan's] style", adding: "She's always had a very pared-back style in terms of very simple, refined."
She added that the new Duchess of Sussex is "signalling change" with the choice of fashion house Givenchy, which has addressed the lack of diversity on catwalks. The "progressive" brand is a well thought-out choice for the bride, Ms McAlpine said.
Bridal couture expert Emma Meek added that the design references Givenchy's history of dressing Audrey Hepburn and her classic and timeless style, adding it is very "presidential".
"It also has a very American feel to it, quite sporty, preppy."
Meanwhile, Vogue's digital editor Alice Casely-Hayford agreed the choice of Clare Waight Keller was "brilliant recognition for fashion's female industry leaders".
She said despite the speculation that Erdem or Ralph & Russo would design the dress, the choice was "the perfect fit".
The couple exchanged vows and rings before the Queen and 600 guests at St George's Chapel.
Here's a look at the highlights of the royal wedding.

Wedding cake designer Claire Ptak has opted for a very different creation to the one seen at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding.
Whereas Fiona Cairns created a classic-looking eight-tiered white cake in April 2011, Ms Ptak's cake features three separate cakes (one of which has two tiers), arranged together and linked by their floral decoration.
Both cakes were, however, covered in soft icing, in contrast to those that came before them.

It was a traditional wedding - the dress, the bridesmaids, the vows, the hymns. And yet. it was very, very different.
The Palace made it clear, in a stream of announcements, that they wanted a different kind of wedding.
But it was the service that marked this out as a modern, diverse wedding for a modern diverse couple: the Kingdom Gospel choir setting toes tapping, a young black cellist, and a breathtaking address from Bishop Curry, the President of the Episcopal Church.
Every royal wedding is a chance for the Royal Family to relaunch and reinvent. There may have been trouble in the week before the wedding. But that is in the past.
This wedding was about the future, a different future, for the Royal Family.
Having officiated the service, the Archbishop of Canterbury has tweeted his best wishes to the royal couple.

And as for that cake... here's the first picture of it.
It's been designed by California-born Claire Ptak, the owner of Violet Cakes in Hackney, east London.
Kensington Palace says the cake "features elderflower syrup made at The Queen’s residence in Sandringham" and has a filling "made from Amalfi lemon curd and elderflower buttercream".
The cake is decorated with Swiss meringue buttercream and decorated with British flowers, including peonies and roses.
