    Police said an investigation is under way to find the person responsible for the bomb scare calls, external which have affected four schools in the West Midlands.

    Police said some institutions took the independent decision to evacuate students. 

    A spokesman said : "All are safe and being cared for as usual by staff."

    A British scuba diver has been speaking after charges of involuntary homicide against him were dropped.

    It follows the deaths of his girlfriend and a friend during a dive in Malta.

  9. Men due in court on Syria-related terror chargespublished at 07:33

    Two men accused of carrying out Syria-related terrorism offences are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later.

    Mohammed Iqbal Hussain, 23, from Walsall in the West Midlands, has been charged with four counts of funding terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000.

    Mohamed Suyaubur Rohaman, aged 32, of the same address, is charged with one count of funding terrorism.
