Police said an investigation is under way to find the person responsible for the bomb scare calls, external which have affected four schools in the West Midlands.
Police said some institutions took the independent decision to evacuate students.
A spokesman said : "All are safe and being cared for as usual by staff."
Sandwell Council's leader Darren Cooper said the three schools affected in the borough were Holly Lodge in Smethwick, Oldbury Academy (pictured) and Bristnall Hall Academy in Oldbury.
Three schools in the West Midlands have received bomb scare calls, according to West Midlands Police, external.
A school in Dudley was also affected.
