    Police say they were called to Nandos, just off Broad Street in Birmingham city centre, after a fight broke out at about 23:30 last night.

    A 17-year-old is being questioned after a loaded gun and bullets, external were found in a bag he was carrying. 

    Six others, aged between 15 and 19, are also in police custody after two knives and suspected drugs were seized.

    Seven teenagers have been arrested in Birmingham city centre after a fight broke out last night and a loaded gun was discovered.

    West Midlands Police say the teenagers, aged between 15 and 19, external, are being questioned after police were called to a fight at a restaurant on Bishopsgate Street at about 23:30.

    Officers say a loaded gun with six bullets was discovered in a 17-year-old's bag, as well as two knives and suspected Class B drugs on other group members.

    The 21-year-old says Norwich were also interested, but Villa are a massive club that suit his ambitions.

    A Birmingham woman has spoken for the first time about the death of her father in the Birmingham pub bombings 42 years ago.

    Michelle Sealey was only six months old when two bombs exploded in city centre pubs in 1974. 

    Twenty one people died, including her dad Paul Davies who was only 17.

    Michelle is now supporting campaigners who are calling for answers ahead of new inquests ordered by the coroner.

    Birmingham & Solihull Jazz and Blues Festival, external budget has been drastically cut by more than a half since 2013. Big Bear Music, the company behind the event, has received this year £16,000 less funding from Birmingham City Council than four years ago.

    Albion captain, Darren Fletcher, has warned Saido Berahino not to have another tantrum if he doesn't get a move this summer. 

    Berahino has already rejected a new deal at the Hawthorns.

    Fletcher told reporters in Austria the 22-year-old can't afford to repeat last summer's Twitter outburst, when he threatened to strike after a move to Tottenham was blocked.

    Officers also secured 27 special protection orders for those at risk.
