The 22-year-old Birchfield Harrier Elliot Giles made a dramatic late bid for Team GB selection by winning at the trials last month.

He took bronze on his international debut in the European Championships at the weekend - that's persuaded the selectors to take him to Rio.

It's pretty amazing considering this all comes two years after a serious road accident that could have ended his career.
