    John at TC cars in Chelmsley Wood and Steve from CP Barbers in Balsall Common have paid £10,000 between them for the Danny Kelly show to come live from both businesses on separate days.

    The government says disabled people should be able to access all platforms at a key Staffordshire railway station "within a year".

    The Conservative MP for Lichfield, Michael Fabricant, questioned the government in the Commons about when the delayed work would start.

    The rail minister, Paul Maynard, said disabled passengers shouldn't have too much longer to wait.

    The Conservative MP for Lichfield has questioned the government over the delayed work for disabled access at a key Staffordshire railway station.   

    Work was due to start at Lichfield Trent Valley in the summer, but it's been delayed. 

    Michael Fabricant told the Commons two out of three platforms are "completely inaccessible" to users with disabilities.

    A 33-year-old Telford man who got his Mercedes stuck on a tram line in Birmingham earlier this month made a "foolish" decision, his lawyer told Birmingham magistrates today.

    Maurice Cooney admitted drink-driving, having no insurance, and causing a danger or inconvenience by obstructing the tracks.

    His lawyer told the court he had been for a night out with friends in Birmingham and decided to drive home.

    His solicitor Harjit Rashoda told magistrates: "Once you are following the Metro line at the back of Snow Hill there is no way of turning back and he had to carry on. The line then rises and that's where he became stuck."

    And he added it's going to cost £6,000 to repair the car.

    A man arrested on suspicion of murdering a brother and sister who died following a house fire is their father, Oldbury Coroner's Court has heard at the opening of the siblings' inquest.

    The children - Saros Endris, eight, and his sister Leanor, six - did not die of smoke inhalation or burns, it was revealed. Further tests are needed to establish the full cause of death.

    Their father, Mohammed Endris, 46, was arrested today.

    The siblings were discovered last month at a property in Hamstead where firefighters tackled a small blaze in a hallway. Attempts were made in front of the home to resuscitate the pair but they could not be saved.

    Further tests are required to establish cause of death.

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering siblings who died following a house fire last month, police say.

    He is 46.

    Saros Endris, eight, and his sister Leanor Endris, six, were found at a property in Hamstead on October 28.

    Firefighters had been called to the home in the early hours and tackled a fire in a hallway.

    Despite attempts by crews to resuscitate the children - said by residents to have been carried out of the Holland Road home by a neighbour and laid on the lawn - they could not not be saved.
