    First it was Brierley Hill, now it's Shaw Road in Birmingham. 

    The Environment Agency and Dudley Council are taking action after another rubbish mountain piled up at a business in the Black Country. 

    The latest giant heap is only a few miles from the last one.

    A retired music teacher who helped hundreds of evacuee children from Birmingham during World War Two has today celebrated her 100th birthday. 

    Trudie Haines - who now lives in Malvern, Worcestershire - was in charge of dozens of youngsters who were sent to live with families in Ashby-de-la-Zouche.

    People hit by flash flooding earlier this year  are still living with the aftermath.

    Rita Reynolds, 89, of Great Barr still finds it hard to believe just how much of the ground floor of her home was destroyed by the flooding, even when she looks at the pictures. 

    She has no carpets and has only recently had the walls in the lounge replastered.

  13. Boys 'spoken to' over international card fraudpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2016

    Three teenagers are being investigated , externalon suspicion of being part of a cross-continental £1m card fraud gang. 

    Homes in Great Barr and Coventry were searched on Tuesday with simultaneous raids carried out in Finland, Spain and Canada. 

    An 18-year-old man was arrested and bailed in Great Barr on suspicion of fraud and cybercrime offences while two boys aged 15 and 16 from Coventry were "spoken to" by officers.

    BBC radio presenter, Richie Anderson, is taking on a 250-mile tandem ride to raise funds for Children in Need. 

    He's now passed the half-way mark and is cycling his way around Shropshire.

    Michelin-starred chef Glynn Purnell has been into the BBC office to judge the annual cake off.

    Staff gathered near the tables piled with a whole array of gorgeous looking home baked cakes, cookies, brownies and biscuits.
