    Gritters in Dudley have had a busy morning.

    Dudley Council says its gritters were out overnight, external and are out again this morning. On it website, it writes: "The main roads have been treated and traffic is moving. Side roads could be icy. Sleet and snow is expected from 7 to 9am today. Drive with care!"

    Forty four people have been made redundant and more than 100 other jobs are still at risk after the Redditch firm AMS went into administration. 

    AMS, which installs shop interiors, was founded in 1919 and has offices around the world. 

    Administrator KPMG says the company has faced significant challenges in recent times, through increasing competition, pricing pressures and general difficulties within the retail sector.

    An elderly woman is still in a serious condition in hospital say police, external, after she was hit by a car in Tamworth.

    Staffordshire Police say the 78-year-old was on Roman Court at the junction with Watling Street in Tuesday afternoon when the collision with an Audi TT happened.

    They say she's being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and they want to hear from witnesses who saw the crash.
