12:15 GMT 24 January 2017A man from Redditch has been banned from keeping dogs for 10 years after pleading guilty to two counts of cruelty.
In 2014, 45-year-old Anthony Poole was found to own a stray Rottweiler which was underweight and in poor condition.
Last year he was found by dog wardens to have caused unnecessary suffering to a Rottweiler and a Staffordshire bull terrier.
Poole has also been given a 12-month community order with a 15-week curfew and ordered to pay costs of around £1,500.

12:04 GMT 24 January 2017A row has broken out over claims a four-year-old Muslim pupil was told she could not wear a headscarf at her Catholic primary school.
The policy at St Clare's Catholic Primary School in Handsworth, Birmingham, does not allow hats or head coverings.
Labour councillor Waseem Zaffar, who is in charge of transparency, openness and equality on the city council, said he had met the headteacher after a complaint from the girl's parents and claimed in a Facebook post that her treatment breached the Equality Act which sets out what constitutes discrimination, external.
Birmingham City Council said the school's governing body was responsible for creating and setting the uniform policy and it was supporting the school to ensure its policy was appropriate.

This is the scene in Handsworth after a man was stabbed to death on a bus.
The victim, aged in his 30s, was attacked on the upper deck of the 11A bus in the Handsworth area on Monday, West Midlands Police said.
Forensic investigators are poring over the scene in Rookery Road, where the attack took place, and parts of Oxhill and Greenhill Roads are also closed.

10:36 GMT 24 January 2017Moves to install cameras in bus lanes on three main commuter routes through Birmingham are expected to be approved later.
Bus lane cameras have been in operation in the city since 2013.
City councillors will look at the proposals for part of the Aston area, the Tyburn Road through Erdington and in parts of Bordesley Green, at a cost of £450,000.
Stewart Stacey, the councillor in charge of transport and roads, says these bus lanes are "being misused".

10:00 GMT 24 January 2017Police have named a man who died in a crash near Lichfield last week as a father of three.
Andrew Dennis, 43, was involved in a two-car collision on the A51 Tamworth Road last Friday which is still being investigated by Staffordshire Police.
He was an active member of a church, according to the police, and his family said they were in the process of organising a thanksgiving service to remember his life.

BBC Local LiveA man in his 30s was found with stab wounds on the upper deck of the number 11A bus at around 22:43 GMT last night.
He was given CPR at the scene but he died a short time later.
The bus was in Rookery Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, at the time.
Officers have described a man they would like to speak to, external as a black man, aged around 30, wearing a baseball cap and padded jacket. He is believed to have left the bus in Rookery Road.
