    A doctor has been charged with sexually assaulting female patients.

    Dr Amirul Haque, aged 32, of Ladypool Road, Balsall Heath, has been bailed to appear at Walsall Magistrates Court on 1 March, police say, external.He is accused of five counts of sexual assault against separate patients at a surgery in Dudley, West Midlands Police said.

    As you can see, it was stuck on the tram tracks, blocking the line and stopping the trams between St Paul's and Birmingham New Street.

    It's from a company called Hardstaff, based in Kingston on Soar, here in Nottinghamshire.

    Birmingham hotels have enjoyed their most successful year on record, according to figures released today.

    Occupancy rates for 2016 peaked at 99% capacity and averaged 75% - both the highest on record, according to Marketing Birmingham.

    Nearly half of visitors to the city stayed overnight - 45% compared to 21% in 2013. The proportion of international visitorshas grown too, from 6% to 12% in the same period. 

    The majority of international visitors travelled from European countries including France and the Netherlands.

    Marketing Birmingham said a rise in visitor spend last year was partly down to events including cricket fixtures at Edgbaston (£17.7m), the Birmingham and Solihull Jazz and Blues Festival (£6.2m), the Conservative Party Conference (£18.4m) and the Frankfurt Christmas Market with a record £400m.

    Wolves have sealed the permanent signing of Helder Costa for a club record fee, reported to be worth up to £13m.

    The Portuguese winger had been on a season long loan from Benfica but Wolves had the option to make it permanent this month and the 23-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal.

    Heavy Metal fans heading to gigs on Black Sabbath's final tour are being urged to pose for photos so they can become part of an exhibition chronicling a key chapter in rock history.

    The Home of Metal initiative wants to capture portraits of fans as part of an exploration of the musical legacy Sabbath will leave behind.

    They will be meeting rockers on the concourse of Birmingham New Street Station from Thursday to Saturday between 15:00 and 19:30.

    We've now heard from Midland Metro operator National Express on the lorry that's been on tram lines for hours, halting services.

    The lorry was discovered in Birmingham city centre at 06:20 and its "owners are attempting to retrieve the vehicle at the moment".

    It is blocking the line at St Chads and means no trams are running from St Paul's to Birmingham New Street.

    The other thing we can tell you - which you might already have guessed from the pictures - is it is stuck.

    National Express has not been able to tell us what's behind the lorry's stay.

    Hundreds of people in Birmingham were among the thousands protesting in cities across the UK against a controversial travel ban on seven mainly Muslim countries imposed by US President Donald Trump.

    The ban bars citizens from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

    MPs held an emergency debate on the immigration measures.

    A petition calling for PM Theresa May to cancel Mr Trump's planned state visit to the UK has gathered more than 1.5 million signatures.
