    Birmingham City's player coach Paul Robinson has denied their bad run of form is affecting the players' confidence. 

    The Blues are yet to win ten games into Gianfranco Zola's reign after he replaced Gary Rowett in December, but Robinson is convinced they just need a change of luck.

    Work to protect more than 150 Birmingham homes and businesses from flooding will start today. 

    The £4m project will take place in Selly Park North and Selly Oak after both areas were hit by flooding in 2008 and 2016. 

    The work is designed to help keep open roads during adverse wet weather.

    A man has been charged with the murder of his 35-year-old wife following the discovery of a woman's body in a car parked at a branch of Lidl. 

    Norbert Chikerema, aged 42, of Overdale Road, Quinton, Birmingham, is accused of killing of Nyasha Kahari. 

    A body was found outside the Lidl in Mackadown Lane, Tile Cross, Birmingham, on 30 January.

    Hospital patients in Dudley who are over the age of 65, will get a phone call after they have been sent home to check whether they need more help. 

    The local NHS trust has got a team of care coordinators who it says will help with things like carer support, or home repairs.

    It was Walsall keeper Neil Etheridge's eighth clean sheet of the season.    

    The Saddlers are now six  points off the top six and boss Jon Whitney feels they can continue their good form.
