    Solihull Moors still aren't safe in the National League after losing to Torquay United last night. 

    The 1-0 win - thanks to an 88th minute goal - moved The Gulls out of the relegation zone and just five points behind the Moors.

    West Brom's James McClean and Aston Villa's Conor Hourihane started for Ireland as they lost 1-0 at home to Iceland, while Birmingham City's Stephen Gleeson came off the bench.

    Walsall reached the Walsall Senior Cup final last night thanks to a 4-3 win at Wolverhampton Casuals.

    Police in Warwickshire are appealing for help to find a 19-year old who didn't turn up for a court appearance.

    Lewis John Walker, from Warwick, was due at the town's Crown court on Monday.

    He is charged with possession of an indecent photograph and causing or inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity.

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing in Perry Barr, Birmingham, police say.

    Police were called to a house in Wensleydale Road yesterday afternoon by paramedics, who were treating a man for serious injuries. 

    He was confirmed dead at the scene.

    It was announced yesterday that Channel 4 could move out of London.

    Culture Secretary Karen Bradley said the government wants "the benefits of this national asset to be spread far and wide, not just in London". 

    Birmingham City Council leader John Clancy said "Birmingham is the obvious location" for Channel 4 to relocate to. 

    Mr Clancy has extended an invitation to Culture Secretary Karen Bradley to visit Birmingham "to see for herself the rich pool of talent this city has to offer".  

    He added with Birmingham's culturally diverse population and with 108 different languages being spoken, it makes the city a "perfect spot for relocation".

    A £5,000 reward is being offered for information about a violent robbery at a Poundland shop in Willenhall. 

    Two armed men forced staff at knife-point to empty a safe last Friday morning at the store in Keyway.

    The charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible. 

    Witnesses described the men as being black, about 5ft 11in (1.8m), of athletic build and with local West Midlands accents.

    Sarah Khatri had parked up in Chantry Road on Monday morning when a man tried to drag her out of her car and another man got in and pulled out a knife. 

    She managed to get her handbag and escaped and the men then took her car. 

    West Midlands Police is appealing for anyone with information to call the force on 101.

    More than 100,000 schoolchildren in Birmingham are going to learn about staying safe at the seaside over the school holidays.

    The lessons follow the drowning  of two Birmingham teenagers off the coast  of Barmouth in Gwynedd, Wales, last August. 

    Birmingham City Council has now formed a partnership with the RNLI to try to avoid a similar tragedy in the future. 

    Lifeboat crews will be visiting schools for special safety sessions.

    Two men arrested in Birmingham in connection with the Westminster terror attack remain in custody after police requested warrants for further detention.

    Officers have until early tomorrow morning to question a 58-year-old arrested on the day of the attack. 

    A 30-year-old man who was arrested on Sunday can be detained until this Sunday morning.

    A window cleaner from Walsall has been awarded the UK's Window Cleaner of the Year award at this year's Cleaning Show. 

    Robert Baker has been doing the job since he was 15 years old - he's now 66.
