They agreed "anaphylaxis" was the most likely cause of death although it was not possible to determine what caused the reaction.

The contents of his stomach did not reveal any foods to which he was allergic and the experts noted he had "vomited violently" prior to his death.

In yesterday's proceedings it was discussed whether the boy was allergic to the white fish in fish fingers that he ate at school before he died.

But the court heard it was "unlikely" he died as a result of anything consumed in his school lunch, and furthermore, it was also "unlikely that he had been allergic to fish".

The first policeman who came to me, he was shouting to me in Spanish, I don't speak Spanish, and I'm saying to him 'get me an ambulance, get me an ambulance', and he's trying to usher me away, as in there could be another van, or there could be another car, he's trying to usher me away and I'm saying 'I'm not moving'. I knew I'm not going to move from this child. This child needs me, I'm not going to move. Just thinking, 'if there's another car that comes, I'm going to pick this child up, I'm not going to leave him there'."
