A Herefordshire primary school threatened with closure says changing the way it operates could help save it from shutting.
Only 20 pupils attend St Weonards Primary, a school which once had more 120 children on the register.

But Herefordshire Marches Federation of Academies, external, which includes St Weonards, says it's considering having it offer "flexi-schooling" with home-schooled children only attending part-time.

The Bishop of Stafford has told BBC Radio Stoke he wants Stoke-on-Trent City Council to meet with churches to try to solve the problem of homelessness in the city centre.

A man is to face trial next year for the murder of a father-of-two.
Andrei Cosmin Ilie, 22, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday charged with the murder of Masoud Esmailian.
Ilie denied the charge and a trial was set for 21 May 2018.
Mr Esmailian, 46, was found fatally stabbed in his home in Montgomery Walk, West Bromwich, on 11 September 2015.

Drivers are being warned of "treacherous" conditions on some Worcestershire roads after a car left the surface and ended up on its roof in a ditch.

The Herefordshire-based maker of hand-cooked crisps was bought by Amplify Snack Brands for £300m in 2016.

Homeless man finds his tent vandalised in Cardiff
Alan, who served in the French Foreign Legion, took to the streets after returning from Iraq with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Originally from Telford, Alan came to Cardiff after feeling claustrophobic indoors as a result of his condition.
He is featured in the BBC One Wales documentary, Cardiff: Living on the Streets, to be shown on Monday at 22:40 GMT.
It comes as the city's council says the number of people sleeping on the streets of Cardiff has doubled in the space of a year
