    A senior police officer in the force investigating the road crash in central Birmingham that killed six people has criticised the "lack of humanity" of those who took photographs of an aftermath that emergency crews described as harrowing.

  2. Birmingham crash: Road re-opens

    One of the main routes through Birmingham is open again this morning after a "horrific" road crash that left six people dead.

    Three vehicles were involved in the collision in an underpass on Belgrave Middleway at about 01:00 on Sunday morning.

    Three men travelling in one car died at the scene.

    The driver of a taxi and his two passengers were also killed. The police say they need witnesses to come forward.
