    Police have release another photo of Sefora Tanase - the pregnant prisoner who is "unlawfully at large" after escaping from Royal Derby Hospital.

    Tanase, 19, is a prisoner at Foston Hall, currently serving a sentence for theft offences.

    She is of Romanian nationality and has strong links to the Birmingham area.

    One hundred years ago, a solider from Tamworth said he was preparing for a "really nice Christmas" on the Western Front during World War One.

    The Staffordshire man, 2nd Lieutenant Harold Ridsdale of the 76th Field Company, the Royal Engineers, wrote home to his family and his letter's been voiced by the BBC to mark the anniversary of the conflict's last Christmas.

    He was born in Tamworth in 1889 and writes back about killing pigs, buying beer and that the officers have a turkey and "about 14 Christmas puddings".

    Lt Ridsdale survived the war and went on to became the director of a colliery. He died in 1960.

    An investigation is under way to find the cause of a fire which engulfed two barns on a farm near Newport, external.

    Shropshire Fire Service says it was called at 02:30 to the site at Tibberton and found the two buildings full of farm machinery.

    Crews say it took just over two hours to get under control and the cause may take a few days to work out.

    The Methodist chapel in the village says it'll be open this afternoon from 14:00 for candle-lighting and prayer.

    A 55-year-old man who suffered serious back injuries in a microlight crash two years ago has been awarded nearly £100,000 damages after suing the pilot.

    Michael Foreman was dragged to safety after the aircraft piloted by friend Graham Williams plummeted from about 200ft near Shifnal, Shropshire in July 2015.

    A High Court judge concluded Mr Foreman should get £99,400 to cover care costs and loss of earnings.
