    A boy who's brother was killed in a massacre at a school is supporting a new counter terrorism campaign in the West Midlands.

    Ahmad Nawaz of Birmingham survived the attack in Pakistan which resulted in the death of 130 pupils, including his younger brother.

    He's promoting a film launched today which advises the public on how to spot suspicious behaviour.

    An elderly man became the first person from the UK to be investigated in Germany for his alleged role in the Holocaust in World War Two.

    Stanislaw Chrzanowski, 96, from Shropshire, was being investigated in Munich for the murder of civilians in his home town of Slonim in Belarus.

    He died in October not knowing he was under investigation.

    German prosecutors confirmed they are now looking through immigration records for possible new suspects in the UK.

    More than 370,000 people have signed a petition, to be presented to No 10 today, calling for a six-year-old boy with epilepsy to be granted a special licence to use cannabis oil.

    Alfie Dingley from Kenilworth has a very rare form of the illness that causes up to 150 seizures per month.

    His parents want the government to let him use cannabis oil - which is banned in the UK - to help with his symptoms.

    Earlier this month, ministers said they were "exploring every option" after meeting with the family.

    His family, who have booked a room in Parliament for the day, said thousands of Alfie's supporters have written to their local MPs urging them to meet the family.

    A new 3D printing factory being developed at the Worcester Six Business Park is due to open in September, said Siemens.

    The Germany company is investing £27m in the facility.

    The company's investment will also see the firm increase its fleet of 3D printing machines from 15 to 50 over the next five years.

    Around 420 women die every year in the West Midlands from ovarian cancer. A campaign's been launched, external to make people aware of the symptoms.

    Jessica Bourne, a mum of three from Lichfield is fighting the disease, only months after her teenage son, Jay was given the all clear for leukaemia.

    Her symptoms included severe bloating and she is now warning others to look out for the early "silent killer" signs including feeling full and/or loss of appetite, tummy pain and needing to wee more often.

    Last week she was told her cancer isn't responding to treatment - but the fight continues for her future with her son and twin daughters, Grave and Eve.

    The M54 is facing a series of overnight closures due to road repairs.

    It will affect westbounds traffic at J1, J2 and J7 between 20:00 and 06:00 19-23 March and 26-29 March.

    Hundreds of people have arrived for a memorial service for two boys killed while crossing the road.

    A large group of bikers also turned out for the service remembering Corey, six, and two-year-old Casper Platt-May, killed when they were hit by a car in Coventry.

    Several businesses in Crewe were evacuated earlier after a suspicious package was discovered in the back of a car at a garage.

    A bomb disposal team was called and Weston Road closed as the suspect package was investigated.

    Staffordshire Police say what was found was a police training device for firearms operations within the police.

    The device has been traced back to West Midlands Police and is now being jointly looked into.

    A fire at a former student accommodation block at Keele University is being treated as arson, says Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

    Firefighters were called to the site on Station Road in Keele on Saturday night.

    The second floor of the three-storey block was well alight.

    The building is now being demolished.
