Shrewsbury Town's hope of a trophy win at Wembley vanished as they were beaten 1-0 by Lincoln City in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Shrewsbury came close, Bryn Morris hitting the bar for them, but Elliot Whitehouse's close-range strike proved enough for the Imps to win.
Town should also have had a penalty for a hand ball against Luke Waterfall, but for luckless Shrewsbury their fourth visit to Wembley again ended in defeat.
