    Steve Ogrizovic, a hero of the past, is with the players of today, but has been allowing them to take the glory this time.

    And those players are bouncing up and down with the fans, making the bus itself bounce.

    They will now get off the bus for a civic reception.

    BBC Cov and Warwickshire's Vic Minett is on the open top bus with former Sky Blues defender Dave Busst.

    "The more we get close to the city the more and more people we are getting," he said.

    "To see the pride and passion in people, it's brilliant. The sense of pride in everyone as they wave up at the lads. This will be up there with the '87 lot."

    He's referring to the 1987 cup final, when Coventry FC took on and beat Tottenham Hotspur by three goals to two.

    People have been leaving their houses to line the route of the open top bus tour through Coventry this evening.

    Former Coventry City player David Busst said "you just see the pride and the passion in everyone, it's absolutely brilliant".

    And the Lord Mayor, Councillor John Blundell, said: "I was here in 1987 and I think this will have the same effect, if not more."
