  1. Tunnel filled with foam after road collapsepublished at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time 20 November 2018

A tunnel in Shropshire is being filled with structural foam today after a 5ft hole opened up in the road.

The road's partial collapse was the first clue to the subterranean, 19th century system believed to have been commissioned by a duke.

Telford and Wrekin Council had to close the road around the Greenvale and Dark Lane junction at the start of October.

The local authority believes the tunnel supplied water to two pools and to local farms.

Companies representing the football club wanted a judicial review into the sale of the Ricoh Arena - where Sky Blues play - amid claims Coventry City Council had undervalued the stadium by £27m , externalwhen it was sold to rugby club Wasps in 2014.

That bid was knocked back and seeking to overturn the ruling, a court appeal was launched - itself turned down in October.

But the BBC understands legal matters arising after the handing down of the original judgment means the deadline by which to appeal the latest court defeat has moved from 16 November to 27 November.

The football club said it was not involved in the court case, but had contacted the club's owners and had "yet to be made aware whether the owners have decided to appeal the judgment at the Supreme Court".
