Stoke City manager Gary Rowett says negativity from supporters in their past few matches is having an impact on the players.
The 44-year-old former Birmingham City boss left Derby County to join Stoke in the summer, but they have won just eight of their 26 league fixtures since relegation from the Premier League.
They are eight points off the final play-off spot, which is occupied by Frank Lampard's Rams - and four points (and six places) behind Rowett's other former Championship club Birmingham.
Some Stoke fans displayed a "Rowett out" banner during their 2-0 home defeat by Bristol City on 1 January and the side needed to come from behind to take Saturday's FA Cup tie to a replay.
Quote MessageIt's a fact that it does impact on the team, that's what it is so, at the moment, we're all battling to prove everybody wrong, including all the players on the pitch. We've got to do that with a lack of confidence, I wouldn't say a lack of support but we've got to do it ourselves

Read MoreAn escaped rhea that's been roaming the grounds of a golf club for months has had part of the course named after him.
Staff at Evesham Golf Club said the 6ft, flightless bird appeared in its grounds in October and staff named him Linford, after Olympic 100m champion Linford Christie, due to his speed.
However, nobody has managed to catch the bird in more than two months and golf club workers say their members are quite happy having him around.
Quote MessageWe're doing a project on one of the holes, our seventh hole, we're changing some of the landscaping on there and we have to bring another hole in, so we have had to re-map another course and we've called it the Linford Course after him
