A man accused of being part of an acid attack on a three-year-old boy has admitted carrying out surveillance on the youngster's mother, but said he was completely unaware of the attack.
The child suffered serious injuries to his face and arm at Home Bargains in Worcester in July 2018.

Plans to build new apartments on a car park on a key gateway into Walsall are set to be approved by councillors.
The 26 one- and two-bedroom apartments are earmarked for land on Bradford Street, which is in a conservation area, near the town centre.
The issue initially went before Walsall Council’s planning committee on 3 January but was deferred after members raised concerns about large refuse collection wagons being able to negotiate the narrow Bradford Lane at the rear of the development, where a bin store was set to be kept.
But a report to members, who will meet on Thursday said issues had been addressed and they are recommended to grant approval for the scheme.
