The RAF says if it gets any complaints about helicopters flying over a proposed crematorium between Oswestry and Shrewsbury, it will forward them to Shropshire Council.
RAF Shawbury has said there could be around 1,300 helicopter flights a month from its Nesscliffe base, but the council has recommended the plans for approval.
The proposal was deferred in March over concerns raised by the RAF over low flying training and noise and a spokesperson for the Shawbury base said: "I would like to place on record that if RAF Shawbury receives noise complaints relating to the proposed crematorium, the complainants will be referred to Shropshire Council’s Planning Department.”
However, a report to the council said noise levels within the chapel were met when the windows were closed and a solution had been found for when the windows were open.

A councillor who was told she would have to face a by-election after she took six months off to care for her terminally-ill daughter, has accused the authority of showing "no compassion whatsoever".
Shropshire Council posted the notice of a by-election yesterday, but has withdrawn it this afternoon after realising former Shrewsbury mayor Jane MacKenzie had attended some council meetings during those six months.
Both the council and her Labour group were aware of the reason for taking time out and she said she was shocked when she heard there would be a by-election.
She said she only learnt she was back on the council when she got an "officious" email.
"There was no apology, compassion or understanding on their part," she sad.
Ms MacKenzie is now planning to set up a charity in memory of her daughter, who died in May.

Kent 585-7 dec, Warwickshire 356-3
Glamorgan's Australian all-rounder Marnus Labuschagne might have gone past 1,000 County Championship runs this season.
But he was actually beaten to the traditional chief cricketing benchmark of being first to 1,000 first-class runs in a season by Warwickshire's Dom Sibley, by just a matter of minutes.
Sibley had 825 runs going into his game, 678 in the Championship, as well as his scores of 19 and 128 for the MCC in the champion county game against Surrey back in March.
When he reached 175, against Kent on the featherbed at Canterbury, that all added up to 1,000.
And Warwickshire were not slow to acclaim his feat . . .
