More than 13,500 women have taken part in BBC research revealing the devastating effect of endometriosis.
Today, following the BBC's findings, MPs have announced the launching of an inquiry into the condition.

A charity in the Black Country says domestic abuse affecting older people is on the rise.
Churches Housing Association of Dudley and District has begun operating an advocacy service for the over 55s, helping them to secure court orders against their abusers and to access emergency housing.
Last year it supported more than 400 women and men, but the figure has risen by a third in just a year.
One woman told the BBC she faced years of emotional abuse from her husband, but had struggled to find accommodation of her own through the local council.

The local authority said elderly customers were not given their money back when they tried to cancel contracts during the legal "cooling off period", totalling more than £20,000.
The firm, along with two senior managers, pleaded guilty to 15 fraud charges at Stafford Crown Court and will be sentenced next month.
The council said all the customers had been compensated for their loss by the company, but not until July which in some cases was more than four years after the contract was cancelled.
Twenty one new battery-powered trams are set to take to the rails of the West Midlands after the signing of contracts worth £83.5m.
The agreement between operator West Midlands Metro and manufacturer CAF includes the new trams plus technical support and battery management services over 30 years, with an option to buy a further 29 trams, the West Midlands Combined Authority said. , external
The fleet is designed to operate on new sections of the line between Grand Central and Hagley Road, which are free of overhead cables, with current trams also set to be fitted with battery units.
The trams were described as "game-changing" by mayor Andy Street.
Tests along part of the new extension to Centenary Square were carried out recently.

In a statement, external, the club said: "Chants of this nature besmirch the good name of Aston Villa Football Club and our fans.

The breaking up of an alliance between two police forces could end up costing taxpayers millions of pounds, according to one of the men who helped set it up.
The forces have been sharing services since 2012, but West Mercia Police wants to pull out, saying it is subsidising Warwickshire Police, which it denies.
The alliance was due to end tomorrow, but Warwickshire Police sought Home Office intervention, saying it had not had enough time to split services.
Over the weekend, the Home Office told the pair to stay in the alliance for three more months to ensure vital services are maintained.
