    Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has refused to talk about speculation linking him with the Arsenal job, saying "I don't speak about these kind of things, no comment at all."

    And he went on to say he was focused on his next match, adding, "We live day by day. Me specifically, I live hour by hour. I know what I have to do next. I still have a lot of work to do."

    Nuno has been one of the names linked with Arsenal after the sacking of Unai Emery four days ago.

    There's some debate on the BBC Shropshire Facebook page, external on the best spot from which to watch the demolition of the Ironbridge gorge cooling towers.

    They're due to come down at 11:00 GMT on Friday and for obvious reasons, you won't be allowed to get close to the site when they're blown up.

    Ken Lawrence suggested: "The road from Buildwas to Leighton at the top of the hill overlooking the beds in the River Severn will give a good view."

    A lot of other people have suggested watching the show from the top of the Wrekin, but Michael Carrington pointed out: "Wrekin going to be rammed by the sound of it."

    Of course, they can be seen for some distance and Beverley Link wrote: "We can see them from the south shropshire hills. Helps work out the location, will be sad when they're gone."

    But Alex Harris had another idea for a good spot and suggested: "in front of your computer. It's being live streamed."

    The New Saints can go back to the top of the Welsh Premier League tonight, if they beat Camarthen at Park Hall stadium.

    This is their game in hand on the league leaders Connah's Quay Nomads and they're coming off the back of a record-breaking 12-0 away win at Airbus.

    A £750,000 loan could be given by Worcester City Council to help pay for the redevelopment of pitches at Claines Lane.

    The Worcestershire FA already has permission for the work and about £1m from Sports England, plus £300,000 from its own reserves and would like to repay the money over 40 years.

    The plan for the site, which is currently home to Worcester Raiders, includes an artificial 3G pitch, a 100-seat stand and new floodlights.

    Talks have also taken place about the possibility of Worcester City FC moving to Claines Lane.

    A man in his 60s was threatened with a knife and robbed in Kidderminster.

    West Mercia Police said it had happened on Monday night after he was approached by two men in Lea Street at about 23:00 GMT.

    The victim lost his wallet and phone in the attack and was taken to hospital for treatment for head injuries.

    West Midlands mayor Andy Street says he is pleased the Conservative Party has included a pledge to build a gigafactory in its manifesto – despite the fact the project has not been costed.

    During a speech at the Conservative party conference in October, Prime Minister Boris Johnson appeared to back the mayor’s calls for the country’s first gigafactory to be built in the West Midlands.

    This was followed up by a commitment in the official Conservative Party manifesto last month to invest in "electric vehicle infrastructure including a national plug-in network and gigafactory".

    Labour have also revealed plans to build three factories across the country.

    Speaking after the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) highlighted the proposals had not been fully costed, the mayor said he was pleased both Labour and the Conservative Party had backed plans to build gigafactories in the UK.

    A 17-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place after an attack in the city on Sunday.

    The 16-year-old victim, who is also from the Stoke-on-Trent, is recovering in hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds.and his condition is described as stable.

    The 17-year-old, who has not been identified by the police, is due to appear before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme tomorrow.

    And Nanny McDee added: "Remember going there over 40years ago with my mom and dad I was very young and loved watching the little girls doing the dancing."

    Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest.

    Officers were called to McDonald's, on Cross Cheaping, in Coventry, on 23 November after trouble flared between a number of youths.

    Two boys aged 15 and a 14-year-old have been bailed pending further inquiries, said West Midlands Police.

    The injured 17-year-old's injuries are no longer life-threatening, the force added.
