    In July, estate agent James Du Pavey, from Market Drayton in Shropshire, set off from Land's End and completed the charity bid in John O'Groats just over a day and a half later.

    He said he raised £10,000 for the Donna Louise Children's Hospice in Stoke-on-Trent.

    However, Mr Du Pavey did admit at the time his journey wasn't without a few hitches as he crash-landed in a garden, on a cricket pitch and on a police dog training field.

    A new five-storey apartment block is being planned for Coventry city centre.

    The scheme has been proposed at a site on Well Street and Bishop Street, next to the student accommodation block The Study Inn.

    The mixed-use development would provide about six retail or office units on the ground floor and up to 40 one and two-bedroom flats on the upper floors.

    West Brom, Coventry City, Birmingham and Shrewsbury Town will all be watching former FA Cup winners Glen Johnson and Teddy Sheringham pull out the numbers at BBC Broadcasting House.

    The draw takes place during The One Show on BBC One at 19:19.

    In a change to the usual format, all eight ties will be played across three midweek nights between 3 and 5 March with no replays.

    The Potters beat Swansea 2-0 on Saturday, their seventh league win under new boss O'Neill.

    The result moved Stoke up two places in the Championship, seven points above the relegation zone.
