The remains of a “pride and joy” car which was stolen and stripped of parts has been left abandoned in the street.

Councillor Barrie tweeted, external: “Stolen car in Old Kingsbury Road – police present plus breakdown truck to remove. Someone’s pride and joy stripped of engine and parts.”

From Birmingham Live:
Car parks around the Malvern Hills will reopen tomorrow to allow people to visit.
Duncan Bridges, CEO of the Malvern Hills Trust, said he was expecting to see an increase in visitor numbers following the government's decision to relax some lockdown restrictions.
He said "we appreciate that some local people have concerns relating to the reopening of the car parks", but added the alternative was "visitors parking on the verges and along roadsides".
Urging precaution, he suggested people should exercise locally if they could, and not visit what he called "honey pot" locations in the area such as British Camp. "We do not want to see a repeat of the Mothering Sunday crowds,” he said.
The car parks have been closed since 27 March.
