An outdoor swimming pool is set to reopen next month after the local council agreed to give it £55,000.
Droitwich Lido didn't open as usual for its summer season due to the coronavirus pandemic and there were fears it would stay shut all year.
But Wychavon District Council has said, external it will give the leisure group running the lido the cash so it can reopen and avoid "a significant shortfall".
The plan will see the lido open for six weeks from 1 August with a reduced number of swimmers.

More than 150 jobs are to be created in the Midlands after TV company Sunset and Vine was awarded the contract for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The company has a long history of covering major sports events for broadcasters around the world including the Commonwealth Games in 2018 and 2014.
As part of the deal it will launch a training scheme for 200 young people with 150 of them employed during the games, it said.

Wolves' hopes of Champions League football have been dealt a blow after Manchester City successfully overturned their two-year ban from European club competitions.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) announced the club were cleared of "disguising equity funds as sponsorship contributions".
UEFA imposed the penalty for "serious breaches" of rules on financial fair play - and it would have seen qualification for Europe's elite competition go to the 5th placed side.
Wolves are three points off that in sixth - but the Court of Arbitration for Sport has cleared City of the charge and their fine for failing to cooperate has been cut by two-thirds.
An illegal rave was closed down in Walsall on Saturday, police say.
People were spotted by officers on patrol entering a disused warehouse in Portland Street where loud music could be heard at about 21:30.
A catering trailer and about 100 people were found at the site.
The West Midlands force put a dispersal order in place and shut down the event.
A 31-year-old man was arrested for an unrelated offence and since been released with no further action.
Insp Tony Eustace warned people against attending similar events saying: "They are unacceptable and illegal, particularly during the pandemic where large gatherings are banned to help stop the spread of a killer virus."

A "manic" week's started for a beauty salon owner in Kidderminster as she reopened her doors today for the first time in months.
Laura Pardoe runs the Beauty Room and admits the past few weeks have been stressful while waiting to restart her business, which only launched last April.
But, with lockdown restrictions easing for beauty salons in England, she said she had started slowly today with four or five appointments but the rest of the week is looking busy.
However some treatments, such as eyebrow threading, are still banned which Mrs Pardoe said is a shame for her.
"I'll be educating people on how to do their eyebrows, home care routines for facials and things like this so we'll find a way round it."

A patient who absconded from a hospital was found in nearby woodland after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Paramedics and police were called to the area in Worcester near to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Friday morning, the ambulance service said.
They managed to get the woman's heart beating again and she was taken back to hospital via A&E.
Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust said the incident would be fully reviewed and the patient was later discharged after treatment with an "appropriate support package in place".

A road through Cannock Chase has reopened today after being shut for more than six weeks over fears of fire damage.
Staffordshire County Council made the move over Chase Road in May, external after two large fires at the beauty spot.
The risk of fire has reduced, the local authority said today, but still remains and barbecues remain banned.

A block of 131 apartments is set for approval in Digbeth, Birmingham.
The site at the corner of Moseley Street and Alcester Street currently contains commercial buildings which are home to businesses including an electrical distributors.
A planning application , externalrecommended for approval by officers suggests demolishing the existing buildings and putting in place an apartment development reaching six and seven storeys in height.
The plans will be considered by councillors at a Birmingham City Council planning committee online meeting on 16 July.
A man has been left with serious wounds to his face after an assault in Leamington Spa.
Officers say the man in his 30s was attacked with a knife in an alleyway near Avenue Road at about 23:45 on Sunday.
Detectives say they're looking for two men.

The number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 at a farm in Herefordshire's risen to 75.
The 200 workers at vegetable producers A S Green and Co, near Malvern, went into lockdown yesterday after the positive tests which initially stood at 73.
It has also been revealed three workers, one of whom tested positive for Covid 19, left the site last week despite advice to stay put.
Health agencies say they are aware of the location of the workers and they are self-isolating.
The latest in a series of huge gas cylinders has begun its slow trek across Staffordshire.
Police in the county have spent the past few weeks, starting in June, moving the tanks at a speed of 5mph from the Cheshire border to Warwickshire.
Drivers have been warned , externalto expect long queues along the route with the journey set to finish on Friday.
