Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo says the issue of Raul Jimenez wearing headgear when he is allowed to return from his fractured skull has yet to be discussed.
Former Chelsea keeper Petr Cech wore headgear after a similar incident, although, as a forward, it might not be so straightforward for Jimenez.
"It has not been discussed," said Nuno. "It’s in everybody’s mind but before then we still have a lot of procedures to follow and training to do - then we will assess the situation.
"Hopefully it will not be required. But it’s there, it could be a solution, but not for now."
Jimenez still cannot train with his team-mates but manager Nuno said the striker had been given the green light to increase his workload.
"The consultation was really positive," said Nuno. "He is allowed to increase his intensity but he is still working by himself and is not close to being with the main group yet.
"The issue is contact, especially heading. He is not allowed to have contact yet."
Legislation needed to clear the next stage of the controversial project has passed through Parliament.

A card and book shop in Droitwich has been given fines totalling £18,000 for repeatedly breaking lockdown rules by staying open.
All non-essential stores have been told to close, but Grace Cards and Books refused and was given a £10,000 Fixed Penalty Notice last Wednesday.
That was on top of fines of £1,000, £2,000 and £4,000 it has received since the start of lockdown, also for staying open.
And it was also fined £1,000 for breaking Covid regulations in November.
Wychavon District Council said it was not looking into the possibility of further action, including a forced closure or court action.
The authority said the business had argued that as it sells items offered by shops still allowed to trade, including newspapers and confectionary, it should be allowed to stay open.
But the council said that as its core business was selling cards and gifts, that exemption didn't apply.

Tyre giant Pirelli is proposing to cut 80 jobs at its site in Burton upon Trent, union Unite says.
A downturn in the market during the pandemic means the firm's department which makes bespoke tyres is facing closure.
The union criticised the company for not using the government's Job Retention Scheme and furloughing workers, rather than "pushing ahead" with redundancies.
"Unite is bitterly disappointed that the Pirelli bosses have started to consult on redundancies in Burton upon Trent, rather than furlough the workers concerned for the maximum time possible," regional officer Rick Coyle said.
“This is another hammer blow adding to the jobs misery in the town. Well-paid, skilled jobs are extremely hard to find."
Pirelli told BBC News that a decline in new car registrations in the UK and a fall in car usage had led to the firm needing to "reorganise one department".
The company was now consulting with Unite, the spokesman added.

About 1,400 vaccination appointments went unused at the Telford International Centre on Tuesday.
The leader of Telford and Wrekin Council, Labour's Shaun Davies, said vaccinators were sent home early as a result, because there wasn't enough for them to do.
Mr Davies wants to move towards "large scale vaccinations of over 65s" and include more care and health workers as well as other vulnerable groups.
So far the county has concentrated on vaccinating the top four priority groups.
The Shropshire and Telford Clinical Commission Groups said there had been no official guidance from NHS England about moving on to the next priority groups.
They also said there was no concern over vaccine supply.
