The BBC has announced it's festive highlights and this year they include a televisual trip to Bristol.
Along with two Bake Off specials, a Raymond Briggs film and Mrs Brown's Boy, viewers are being invited to Christmas Day worship at Bristol Cathedral.

Jan Blomer from Cheltenham has had a safe containing her most treasured possessions stolen.
The items include her father's war medals and her mother's jewellery.
It also contained locks of hair from them both.

Four foreign workers have been arrested in Gloucestershire as part of a European-wide operation to target criminals who commit crime abroad.
Operation Trivium was set up to tackle everything from human trafficking and forced labour to distraction thefts.
With the help of the police helicopter, one of the men was tracked down to a small, muddy water culvert in the Forest of Dean.

It may not be a job for the faint-hearted, but Arnos Vale Cemetery, external in Bristol is advertising for a new caretaker.
And while it might sound too creepy for some, the Cemetery's Chief Executive, Mike Coe, says the role is actually quite normal.

Archaeologists working near Larkhill and Bulford have uncovered new neolithic finds which predate Wiltshire's famous Stonehenge.
At Larkhill, they found a ceremonial gathering place which dates from around 3,650 BC. The teams working there also found pottery, flint tools, animal bones and bits of human skull.

A unique double henge was discovered at Bulford, the only example known in Britain. These date back to 2,900 BC.
The digs come ahead of the construction of new Army Service Family Accommodation at both sites.
